Learn to Ride Kids

This is an introductory course for parents wanting their children to learn to ride safely on a bicycle or increase their confidence and skills:

The course aims to provide a comprehensive program that will take the rider from complete beginner to being able to ride solo comfortably on their own and be able to signal, manoeuvre and start and stop a journey.

It includes:

How to ride safely
Correct clothing
How to fit helmet
Starting and stopping a journey
Balancing on the bike
Avoiding potholes & obstacles in the road
Signalling
Controlled stop and emergency stop

The course is in Tenterden at the tennis courts on the Recreation Ground road and is 1.5 hours long and has a maximum of 5 children per lesson. Bikes and helmets can be provided.

Your instructor is a former Kent County Council cycling instructor and is DBS checked
